Moving the Serbia-Albania match from Belgrade to Leskovac is not the only drastic measure the Serbian Football Federation has taken to ensure that local hooliganism does not come to the fore this time. The other decision announced today is even more sensational.

It has announced that it has decided, in cooperation with FIFA and the Serbian Ministry of Interior, not to put tickets for this match on sale. They will be distributed practically with lists and people identified through documents, to ensure that no problematic people are present at the facility for the challenge in question.

In accordance with FIFA's assessment, instructions from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, consultations with UEFA and, above all, the bad experience from the previous match that was interrupted in 2014, and for this reason our team was administratively left without a place in a major competition, the FSS Emergency Committee has decided that there will be no tickets on sale for the upcoming match between Serbia and Albania, which will be played on October 11 at the 'Dubocica' stadium in Leskovac.

Attendance in the stands will be ensured by distributing tickets to the football community through distribution to regional federations, clubs, football school students and their parents, professional and amateur football organizations, official sponsors and guests of the FSS, accredited media representatives, as well as medical and other teams necessary for the implementation of the match.

Entry to the stadium will only be allowed with strictly personalized tickets and proof of identity (ID card or passport), as well as strict security checks at the entrance, in full compliance with the highest security standards.

We remind the public that in October 2014, the match between Serbia and Albania in Belgrade was interrupted, which led to serious consequences for our national team, including the loss of a place in the 2016 European Championship in France.

Precisely for this reason, the Football Federation of Serbia, together with UEFA, FIFA and all other competent institutions, is taking all necessary measures to ensure maximum security and the orderly conduct of the match.

Let us remind you that the match between Serbia and Albania has been declared a match with the highest security risk by all relevant institutions – FIFA, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Football Federation of Serbia. Especially for this occasion, FIFA is sending two security officers to Leskovac, and there will be no guest fans in the stands, in accordance with security instructions and in order to maintain order and safety for all participants in the event.

The Football Federation of Serbia calls on all participants to contribute to a fair and sporting environment through their behavior, so that the Serbian national team has the conditions to achieve the best possible result on the field.
