Napoli makes a false start against Verona, Atalanta wins the direct duel
Verona stuns Napoli

Napoli was stunned at home by Hellas Verona, drawing 2-2 in the 19th week duel in Serie A.

A false step from the reigning champions, who ended the first half with a two-goal deficit. Verona opened the scoring in the 16th minute with Frese, while Orban doubled the lead 11 minutes later.

The second half started with Napoli on the attack and McTominay narrowed the gap in the 54th minute. Di Lorenzo equalised in the 82nd minute, but Conte's team were unable to overturn the result.

With this draw, Napoli holds third place with 38 points, one less than leaders Inter. Verona holds 18th place with 13 points.

In the next match, Atalanta triumphed 0-2 away against Bologna, in a direct match for the European zone. The Bergamo team was more demanding from the start and found the advantage with Krstovic in the 37th minute.

It was the same author who doubled the score in the 60th minute to seal the victory for the visitors.

With this success, Atalanta maintains seventh place with 28 points accumulated, while Bologna drops to eighth place with two points less.
