Marco Verratti and Ronaldo Nazario

The gang of Albanian and Spanish robbers who robbed the villa owned by the Brazilian phenomenon Ronaldo and in which the Italian midfielder of PSG, Marco Verrati was resting, also had among its targets the homes of several names from the world of sports.

Last week, Spanish police confirmed that they had arrested 7 people accused of carrying out the robbery at the house in Ibiza where Marco Verratti was spending his holidays. The house belonging to Ronaldo is located in the municipality of Sant Josep, on the island of VIPs.

The agents managed to recover most of the items worth more than 3 million euros that the group of thieves stole and after the searches made in the following days they managed to discover much more. The Spanish and Italian media are echoing a list handwritten by the group of "falcons", where the villas owned by Lionel Messi and Rafael Nadal have been noted, as the next target.

According to the Spanish police, the gang made up of Albanians is suspected of being linked to 15 other thefts that took place in several luxury villas between Alicante, Malaga and Murcia. And according to what the newspaper Diario de Ibiza reported, in the checks after the arrests that took place in the province of Malaga, the agents found a notebook where the criminals had written the names of their next targets. Loud names from the world of sports and politics.

The handwritten notebook was confiscated from the Malaga home of a Spaniard suspected of working with some of the Albanians accused of the thefts. The names of former Madrid players Guti and Fernando Hierro stand out in the list, with their respective houses in Ibiza in the criminal sphere.

Nadal's name was linked to his €4m house in Porto Cristo in Mallorca, where the tennis player lives with his wife Mery Perello. Messi was instead listed in the notebook, but did not include home address information. The target of the gang is also the former Spanish Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar.

A nice list to make a staggering profit but fortunately, the Spanish police preceded the movements of the criminals.
