Kosovo comes out without points from the transfer to Romania, saying goodbye to the dream of qualifying for Euro 2024. The Dardanians, led by Primoz Gliha, were defeated 2-0 in a meeting full of tension and missed chances.
The chants and anti-Albanian banner of the Romanian ultras interrupted the match for more than 30 minutes. Vedat Muriqi and Edon Zhegrova did not take advantage of two good opportunities in the first half.
The first half ended with Muriqi's red card (two yellows). Aro Muric saved captain Nicolae Stanciu's penalty, but the home side found the back of the net twice in the final minutes.
