Jasir Asani is today one of the most talked about names of the Albanian national team.
The talent from Skopje has scored two fantastic goals with red and black making us all, and today he experiences the best moments of his career.
But his past has not always been easy. In a video from a few years ago that has been re-shared on social networks, a news chronicle shows how Asani had fallen prey to the violence of Macedonian extremists.
He stated in the interview that the hooligans asked him to say "hamburger". Asan had refused to obey the orders and thus the conflict with them had started.
"They said give me a hamburger, did you say why they told me a hamburger?" They beat me a lot, but my allowance was kept", he declared.
In his statement, he said that the hooligans stopped the attack only when he told them that he played for the team of Vardar in Macedonia.
"There were about 20 people and they came in front of me. They forced me and hit me, they wanted to stretch me. Then I said to him, do you know who I am? I play in Vardar, my name is Jasir", Asani said at the time.
