Manchester City benefits from Arsenal's loss, disappoints Chelsea

The race for the Premier League title has become spectacular after the 15th week of matches.

Manchester City took full advantage of Arsenal's defeat and triumphed 3-0 over Sunderland at home.

Goals from Dias, Guardiola and Foden gave Guardiola's team three very important points. The "Citizens" climb to second place with 31 points, two less than the leading Arsenal. Sunderland holds seventh place with 23 points.

Chelsea were a complete disappointment, holding on to a goalless draw away to Bournemouth. The Blues remain in fourth place with 25 points. 

The other London team, Tottenham, triumphed 2-0 over Brentford. Burnley were defeated 2-1 by Newcastle, in a match where Armando Broja started.

In the next match, Everton triumphed 3-0 over Nottingham.
