Valmir Fetiu was suspended for 6 months by the European Taekwondo Federation, after he slapped the athlete, who is his daughter, after losing in the final of the children's championship that took place in Tirana.

"I regret a lot, I regret my life, my daughter is the most precious thing to me", he said, referring to the athlete.

Valmir Fetiu told the media in Kosovo that the situation happened after the girl panicked about the result, adding that something like this will not happen again and that she apologized.

"She is my daughter and no one loves her more than me. At the moment the girl was disoriented and angry that she lost to the Serbian contestant, she lay on the ground unable to accept the defeat.
