Yamal's number 10 shirt breaks Barcelona records

Lamine Yamal's new number 10 shirt at Barcelona has broken historical records, becoming not only the most expensive shirt in the club's history, but also the best-selling in record time.

And at the same time the most expensive in all of Spain, according to reports from "Diario AS".

The fan version starts at 114.99 euros, while with full customization, including name, number and official patches, the price goes up to 204.90 euros, making it the most expensive jersey in La Liga.

The commercial effect was immediate.

Within just 24-48 hours of its launch, approximately 70,000 units were sold globally, generating around €10 million in revenue for Barcelona – mainly from the adult versions (€134.99) and the professional versions for players (€184.99). Employees at the club’s official stores described the situation as “absolute madness”, with some locations selling over 400 shirts in just two days.

Barcelona's decision to entrust the iconic number 10 shirt to Yamali – previously worn by legends such as Lionel Messi, Ronaldinho and Rivaldo – coincided with the renewal of his contract until 2031, consolidating the 17-year-old as the cornerstone of the club's future.
