Erzeni remains in Superiore

Celebration in Shijak for Erzen's stay in the Superior Category. The Shijaka team managed to defeat Korab 2-1 after 120 minutes of play in the play out final held at "Niko Dovana".

A goal achieved in the "last breath" by a team that during the first two phases was considered the "Cinderella" of Superiore, but which disappointed in the second half of the season, risking even direct relegation in the last week.

As for the chronicle of the match, Erzeni scored first with Sadik in the fourth minute, but in the 20th Korabi countered with Tabak.

For whole minutes, despite the superiority of Shijakas, this result remained unchanged, so much so that extra time was needed to determine the winner (two times of 15 minutes).

In the 97th minute, Adnard Mehmeti scored the winning goal for Erzen. The players of Korab did everything they could to take the match to penalties, but they found it impossible to score another goal.

However, Korabi should be congratulated for the journey it had this season, as it eliminated Tomor and Flamurtari in the First Category play-off.
