Fenerbahce has been eliminated from the second round of Europe's biggest club competition, the Champions League.
After two games against the Ukrainian team Dinamo Kiev, the Turkish team was eliminated with the result 1-2. The challenge ended 0-0, while in the second in Istanbul, the Ukrainians won 1-2 after extra time.
However, the last match was accompanied by a scandal.
Fenerbahce fans, after scoring the second goal by Dynamo Kyiv, started to call the name of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the stadium as a sign of revenge.
The video where Fenerbahce fans can be heard chanting the name of the Russian president has gone viral on social networks. The fans of the Turkish team have been criticized for their gesture.
After what happened, UEFA is expected to take measures against Fenerbahce.
