The nightmare of injuries continues to haunt Albania's midfielder, Arbnor Muçolli.

After being left out of the European Championship, due to physical problems, the 24-year-old is now facing another more serious injury.

The player badly damaged the ligaments in the last match of the championship, where Gothenburg faced Varnamo.

The Albanian left the field amid great pain, while examinations revealed the worst.

Muçolli has badly damaged his ligaments and will undergo surgery.

The recovery time is not yet known, but the year for it is closed and it will be ready only in 2025.

"I felt a lot of pain immediately after it happened and I knew it wasn't good at all. When I got the message of what it was, it was a hard feeling and it's been a rough few days. But now I'm waiting for the surgical intervention and fight to come back strong in 2025", said the Albanian offensive midfielder.

Muçolli is very liked by coach Silvinjo, who wanted to take him to the European Championship, but due to the injury, it was not possible.
