Dani Alves is in big trouble as he is already seriously at risk of imprisonment with a final decision by the Court of Barcelona. During the last testimony where he asked for bail and was denied for the umpteenth time, the former Brazilian defender, currently in custody, again changed his version of events.

Accused of raping a 23-year-old woman in a pub in the Sutton area of ​​Barcelona on December 31, Dani Alves has been arrested since January 20. In the first version of his testimony, he stated that he did not know the accuser, while later he stated that he exchanged sex with her in the bathroom without anything happening, and then he changed his version saying that he had intercourse with her in the toilet of the pub.

He justified his denial of acquaintance with the fact that he wanted to protect the 23-year-old and then emphasized that he did not want this story to be learned by his wife, Joana Sanz, who has officially requested a divorce.

If the court finds him guilty of rape, which is very likely to happen considering the constant change of evidence, Dani Alves risks staying in prison until the age of 51.
