World Cup, calendar and stadiums for Albania revealed (if we qualify)

FIFA published the official schedules and stadiums for the 2026 World Cup on Saturday evening. As expected, they are not at all favorable for Europe, as they have been set based on the official Eastern American time, which is 6 hours ahead of our country.

First, the Albanian national team must go to the World Cup, then do the calculations and analyze the opponents. But the FIFA formula conditions us to speak hypothetically for the moment.

Albania must secure a ticket to the 2026 major event through the "Play Off", where it will face Poland in the semi-finals on March 26 in Warsaw and then the winner of the Sweden-Ukraine pair.

If the Rossoneri succeed, they will have to be placed in Group F of the World Cup with the Netherlands, Japan and Tunisia. It is with the latter that the first match in the group will be, which falls on June 15 at 4 am European time. The Rossoneri will debut at the “BBVA” stadium in Monterrey, Mexico, which is one of the most magnificent stadiums of the World Cup.

The second match against the Netherlands will be played at NRG Stadium in Houston on June 20 at 1:00 PM in the USA, which corresponds to 7:00 PM in Albania.

The final group match will be on June 26 at 01:00 against Japan, which will be played at ATT Stadium in Dallas.

We remind you that the top 2 teams and the 8 best third-placed teams from each group qualify for the next stage of the World Cup. The event will start with the Mexico-South Africa match on June 11.
