The fact is that at Bayern things were not working as before. Nagelsmann and Lena were on vacation, skiing during the championship break, when the surprise phone call came from the club's delegated administrator, Oliver Kahn, communicating the decision that the coach had been replaced by Thomas Tuchel.

Former Germany player Markus Babbel said: "I know his relationship with Lena was a much-discussed argument in the Bayern dressing room." Whether Lena played a negative role in Nagelsmann's dismissal cannot be said for sure. It's voices like those of the dressing room...
