After years in silence and away from public attention, former Chief Prosecutor Adriatik Llalla breaks his silence and returns with an exclusive interview for Top News.
From Rome, in front of journalist Anisa Bahiti, Llalla agrees to speak for the first time about the sensational clash with former American ambassador Donald Lu, his declaration of "non grata" by the US and the legal battle that followed.
Llalla will be invited this Friday, at 9:00 PM, to the show "On the Road" on Top News, in a story that brings back to attention one of the most controversial chapters of Albanian justice.
One of the statements that stands out in this interview is related to his being declared “non grata” by the United States of America. Asked if Albania could be the first case in the world of an official being declared non grata, Llalla replies: “I am actually the first case in the world.”
The interview is expected to focus on the highlights of his career as head of justice, relations with American diplomacy, and dealing with the developments that followed his removal from office.
At one point in the interview, Anisa Bahiti asks him directly: "What if you were facing American Ambassador Donald Lu today, is there something you wanted to tell him?"
Llalla's answers and his account of these events will be broadcast on Friday, at 9:00 PM, on Top News, in the show "On the Road", hosted by Anisa Bahiti.
