In his conversation with Minister Toni Gogu in Fier prison, Rrio Veliaj also responded to him regarding Prime Minister Edi Rama's request to give up his lawyer, Plarent Ndreca.

Veliaj says that he was left alone and had no one to consult with, after Rama's order.

According to Veliaj, he was left with only Ndreca, who became not only his lawyer, but also his friend and companion.  

"- For 20 months, no other advisor has left me. You yourself come after 2 years. Who should I consult with? With the walls?

- Are you telling me that the CM assigns the dungeons, the meetings, the hospital visits? What do you say, consult?
