The US Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources, Richard R. Verma, met today with Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Verma is in Albania as part of his tour of visits to three countries, including Kosovo and Serbia.
The senior State Department official has stated that Albania's integration into the European Union is critical, while the strong partnership between the two countries will be a "guarantor" on this journey.
"Pleasure to meet with Prime Minister Edi Rama in Tirana to thank him for the Afghan welcome and the support of Ukraine. We agreed that EU integration is critical for Albania's future.
