Gazment Bardhi wins the trial against Balluk, the lawyer calls on the minister: Show where you took the 180 MILLION euros

The head of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has won the trial against Minister Belinda Balluku. 

The Democrat was sued for defamation by OSHEE in relation to the statement he made last year that OSHEE manipulated the percentage of electricity losses in the network.

Bardhi sued the Minister of Energy, Belinda Balluku, at SPAK at the time, accusing her of stealing around 180 million euros in just 1 year from the sale of energy.

In a statement to the media, Bardhi's lawyer, Marash Logu, said that it was proven that Gazment Bardhi did not commit any defamation.

Bardhi's lawyer said that the GJKKO declared that there is no defamation in Bardhi's accusation that Balluku abused 180 million euros with energy sales.

Marash Logu: It was proven that Gazment Bardhi did not commit any defamation. Bardhi denounced the abuse of energy trading. An abuse of energy trading that cost 180 million euros… SPAK as well as the special court confirmed that Mr. Gazment Bardhi did not make a false report, but fulfilled his duty as a deputy and chairman of the DP parliamentary group. SPAK confirmed that in connection with the public denunciation of Bardhi and the report, criminal proceedings have been registered for the criminal offense of abuse of office. On behalf of Mr. Bardhi, I have an appeal to Deputy Prime Minister Balluku. Come to SPAK and face the accusations that have been made against you, with the theft of 180 million euros of Albanian citizens' money, show where this money went.

In his accusation, Gazment Bardhi stated that Minister Belinda Balluku avoided buying and selling energy on the stock exchange to favor 4-5 companies close to her.
