Thumanë-Kashar road concession, Agron Shehaj accuses Flamur Noka of close ties with businessman Bashkim Ulaj

Agron Shehaj has leveled accusations against Democratic MP Flamur Noka, regarding the concession of the Thumanë-Kashar road.

The chairman of the "Mundësia" party, Shehaj, has denounced that behind the DH Albania company, which won this contract, lies businessman Bashkim Ulaj, a person known for his close ties with MP Flamur Noka.

According to Shehaj, every time he has raised concerns about this concession, Noka has reacted aggressively, protecting the interests of businessman Ulaj.

"Voice of America has reported that Ulaj is hiding behind the DH Albania company. Every time I talk about Thumanë-Kashar, Flamur Noka immediately comes out and slanders me. The reason is clear: everyone knows that Ulaj is very close to Noka," Shehaj declared.

He also emphasized that this concession, which includes the construction of a 20 km road, has a cost that has increased dramatically, from 60 million euros to 1.3 billion euros.

Shehaj warned that Albanian citizens should be aware of the financial consequences of this project and suggested that this concession was won due to secret agreements between the beneficiaries.
