US decision on Rakip and Droqi, White: Proves crime affects policy

PD MP Gazmend Blanci has reacted after the U.S. Treasury Department's decision on sanctions on former PDIU MP Aqif Rakipi and businessman Star Droqi.

Through a Reaction on Facebook, White reads the US decision as a clear expression that organised crime has a strong influence on policy making in the country.

White writes that the US's nameand adjective of politicians is a standard that deserves respect.

"Only with US support can Albanian politics be cleansed and governance returns to people," he closes his response.

The U.S. Treasury Department sanctioned Aqif Rakip and Star Droqin, who according to this decision all assets and assets they own in the U.S., or American financial institutions even outside the U.S., are sequestered.
