Ermal Hasimja has reacted after his name was included in the opposition's list of candidates for the Tirana Municipality race .

In a reaction on his social networks, Hasimja says he feels appreciated for this proposal, thanking those who have raised or supported the idea of ​​his candidacy.

"I feel undoubtedly appreciated that my name has been proposed on the list of potential opposition candidates for Tirana and I thank those who have proposed or supported the idea," said Hasimja.

He added that a decision will only be made if an official proposal is made to him.

"When I receive (if I receive) an official proposal, I will be able to think about it and make a decision ."

Hasimja also praised the other figures mentioned on the list, Florian Hackaj and Edlira Cepani, describing them as worthy candidates for the opposition.

"I am also glad that the other two names on the list, Florian Hackaj and Edlira Cepani, are people whom I highly value and who would be excellent candidates for the opposition," he said in his reaction.

This Wednesday, the opposition announced that it has agreed to have a joint candidate. Hasimja is the candidate proposed by the Opportunity Party .
