From now on, we are very aware, what is needed is more than what has been done, in the sense that Albania of 2030, must be a country and will be, not only the champion of this Region in Tourism, that not only will be stabilized in the champions league of the Mediterranean, but will have completed all those parts of the mosaic that are still missing today.

Starting from the infrastructure, for which they are doing intensive work. This new season opens with some major infrastructure works that are made available to tourists. Starting from the Llogarasa tunnel, an old idea, which this season will be passable for those going to and from the South. Continuing with the new road Orikum - Dukat that reveals another wonderful part, continuing with the axis Thumanë - Kashar. A very important axis, due to the high flow of vehicles from the north to Tirana, becomes unaffordable

The year has been a torture for travelers. This axis is part of the blue corridor, which was a ridiculed project when we presented it before coming to the government, today it is a corridor that is being built.

In the following days, work will start on other segments, Thumanë-Kashar is only one segment of this corridor.

The existing roads will meanwhile be alternative roads. At the end of this month, we will complete the opening of the race for Milot - Balldren and then Balldren - Muriqan, to make the connection with Montenegro.

With this infrastructure to be completed within this decade, it will offer a fantastic infrastructure offering.

Vlora airport will most likely finish construction this year and will be operational next season, with one operator, like Munich airport.

The competition for Gjirokastra airport will be opened. We have come to the conclusion that the most ideal place to guarantee the needs of aviation.

Finally, I want to add the ports, because we are a country that inherited a black hole in the Mediterranean and it did not appear on the navigation map.

Work has begun on the tourist port of Durrës and Vlora. We are waiting for the end of an absurdity related to Saranda. An absurdity related to the legal side, but it is more like surrealist literature.

We are optimistic that with the opening of this component, which is the ports, the framework will be completed, but at the same time we will have a significant increase not only in the number of visitors, but also in the income from these visitors.

The monthly increase in contracts for 5-star hotels speaks volumes. Until a few years ago, the 5 stars had no plans to come to Albania.

The cherry on the cake is Tirana. Until a few years ago, it was a city that was empty in the summer, while today Tirana increases in number in the summer season, due to the increase in the number of tourists.

If they would have told us a few years ago the publication of mastercard, where Tirana was the third country with the highest increase in tourists for this year in the community of mastercard users, we would have said that this is a joke, but here it is this is a reality today.

There are all reasons to feel encouraged, that this Albania has its own business card in tourism and that this Albania is becoming a country where all those with services in neighboring countries are better off here than there.

I am saying today with all my mouth, that those who work in hotels, restaurants, if they drop the pen compared to the offer they have here and if they do not listen to the media, they do not take the talk of the cafes for granted, but refer to the pen, they have their place here , not there.
