The Speaker of the Assembly Elisa Spiropali handed over the baton of the political direction of PS Shkodër to the Mayor of this city Benet Beci.

"I am confident that under the leadership of Benet Beci, the Socialist Party will get the best result it has ever achieved in the next elections," said Spiropali.

For his part, the Mayor of Shkodër, now also in the role of political leader, said that the city has already entered a transformational process.

"Thanks to the investments that are being implemented, the political work becomes easier, because the work is in our political focus."

Spiropali, handed over the political leadership to the mayor Beci, after the success last year, with the battle won in the northwestern city, where the socialists took the leadership of Shkodër Municipality for the first time. Meanwhile, as of today, the left-wing force in power faces another challenge, that of the 2025 parliamentary elections.
