The President of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has again attacked the head of SPAK, Altin Duman.

Meta stated today in a press conference that Dumani has been investigating him for 5 years and that, according to Meta, he has not found anyone suspicious in relation to his activity.

"I don't know how accurate this statement made by a third source is, but it has also been referred to the first source, which is Dum Dumani, personally for a long time. I can declare to you that despite the fact that Dum Dumani has been investigating Ilir Meta for 5 years, based on the report of a crazy person who was also convicted by a court decision for "domestic violence" since December 1999, when was the climax of the debate on the constitutional court. He has neither found nor will find any act of Ilir Meta in violation of the law, no account anywhere, no undeclared or hidden property", said Meta.

Meta accused that environmental conversations with his former close people were staged, saying that in this way SPAK has found something.

But Meta did not prefer to comment on who these people are, and what the intercepted conversations are about.

"Yes, they have found something about the people that Meta has been around, and they use them, also making stagings of supposedly ambient conversations that are real entertainment. Dum Dumani aims to use the corrupt people of the opposition to attack the real leaders of the opposition", said Meta who did not disclose further about the persons involved and the subject of the conversations.

During the communication with the media, Meta said that the Freedom Party has started preparations for the upcoming parliamentary elections, where he revealed that he himself will run in the district of Tirana.
