Prime Minister Edi Rama sees the Russian President, Vladimir Putin , as a puppet.
This is what he said in an interview with the Italian journalist Federico Marconi, of the show "Piazza Pulita" on La7.
" Why do you keep Putin at the table? ", the journalist asked Rama, pointing to a matryoshka doll with the face of the Russian president.
“Because I like to see him as a doll. Having the capacity for self-irony and the sense of the irony of history even through these small objects is important to not be a slave to history, or not to take yourself too seriously," answered Rama.
In the interview, Rama spoke about the agreement with Italy for immigrants, saying that Albania has no costs for it, as all expenses are covered by Italy.
"We have given the willingness to host this Italian operation in a territory that will be completely administered by Italy."
Asked if he met with Meloni this summer, as some Italian media reported, the prime minister answered: " There was no escape ."
