After Von der Leyen, Borrell gathers Western Balkan leaders in New York

The European Union's foreign policy and security chief Josep Borrell will host Western Balkan leaders at a working lunch in New York on Wednesday, the European Commission announced on Friday.

The meeting will take place during the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.

"On Wednesday, High Representative Borrell will host six leaders from the Western Balkans for a traditional working lunch," the EC announcement said on activities that senior officials will conduct as part of the UN General Assembly meeting.

The UN session in Nw York, according to the EC announcement, will be attended by a high-level EU delegation, including Borrell and EC President Ursula von der Leyen.
