Today's Assembly/ 2 interpellations with Kumbaro, Braçe asks for clarifications from Minister Salla about the medical service

Today, the deputies of the Albanian Parliament gather for the next parliamentary session. The agenda today includes the development of two interpellations with the Minister of Education Mirela Kumbaro.

One of them was requested by MP Erisa Xhixho regarding safety in schools, referring to serious incidents where minors have lost their lives as a result of fights with their peers. A similar request is made by Kapri, who asks the minister for explanations on the measures the government has taken regarding the presence of violence in schools.

SP MP Erion Braçe has requested a question-and-answer session with Health Minister Evis Salla. Braçe is seeking explanations regarding the complete non-functioning of the service for citizens at the health center on Irfan Tomini Street.

A series of draft laws will be put to the vote, for additions to the law "On Value Added Tax in the Republic of Albania", for amendments to "On Excise Duties in the Republic of Albania", "On Cultural Heritage and Museums", and other draft decisions.

Meanwhile, the political climate is expected to be tense following the Democratic Party's protest two days ago. Violence is what identifies that rally, militants who spared neither police officers nor media workers.

Agenda:

The Assembly will meet in plenary session on 12.2.2026, at 10:00.

II. The agenda of the plenary session is as follows:

1. Approval of the minutes of the plenary sessions of 27.1.2026 and 3.2.2026.

2. Notifications.

4. Interpellation with the Minister of Education, Ms. Mirela Kumbaro, requested by MP Erisa Xhixho.

3. Interpellation with the Minister of Education, Ms. Mirela Kumbaro, requested by MP Erald Kapri.

5. Question and answer session with the Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Ms. Evis Sala, requested by MP Erion Braçe.

6. Draft law "On the foreign service in the Republic of Albania".

7. Draft law "On an amendment to Law No. 61/2012 "On excise duties in the Republic of Albania", as amended.

8. Draft law "On an addition to law no. 92/2014, "On value added tax in the Republic of Albania", as amended.

9. Draft law "On some amendments to law no. 27/2018 "On Cultural Heritage and Museums"

10. Draft decision "On the approval of the structure, organizational structure and salary classification of part-time staff recruited for the processing of election materials of the Central Election Commission".

11. Draft decision "On some additions to decision no. 65/2025 "On the appointment of substitute members in the composition of the permanent committees of the Assembly", as amended.

12. Discussions on matters outside the agenda.

III. The services of the Assembly are charged with publishing the agenda of the plenary session, notifying the members of the Assembly through electronic means of communication, and preparing the parliamentary documentation to be reviewed.

IV. This order shall enter into force immediately.
