Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted through a post on social media regarding the Democratic Party's national protest yesterday, February 10, in front of the prime minister's office.

Rama has also published photos of several homemade bombs, which, according to him and the police, were thrown at the rally by protesters towards government buildings and officers.

The head of government has described the DP as the only party in the democratic world that uses violence in protests, and that, according to him, " is like a stigmatized and misguided eighty-something year old! "

Rama further adds that the political fate of the DP will be written in next year's elections, where, according to him, the Democrats will face an even more exemplary defeat than the previous ones.

"As for the political fate of this new cycle of expulsions on the boulevard, it will be written as usual in next year's elections with an even more exemplary defeat than the previous ones, while we will continue unabated on the path towards Albania 2030 in the European Union," he writes.

Rama's reaction:

These are the homemade bombs with which police officers were attacked, burned, and injured last night, by the only political party in the democratic world that practices violence and the second in the history of the entire world – after that of the infamous Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe – that goes back to a stigmatized and misguided eighty-something year old!

I hope that justice will be served to the injured police officers and that the bearers of these deadly weapons will be punished without hesitation!

As for the political fate of this new cycle of street protests, it will be written as usual in next year's elections with an even more exemplary defeat than the previous ones, while we will continue unabated on the path towards Albania 2030 in the European Union.
