After Durrës, Ervin Salianji continued meetings with DP structures in the city of Gjirokastra.

 As stated at the beginning of his speech, Salianji said that Albanians are seeking real change that only the Democratic Party can bring about.

"We must defeat Edi Rama and we can defeat him. But we cannot sit around 7 months after the elections to warm our seats and not talk about some problems. The internal problem is unsolved. Nothing has changed in this period. For years we have been a party that reacts, but a party that remembers the past often seems to be. The country needs new energy and people who have won the vote of confidence of the citizens. It is difficult for a political party to win without having the truth and morality with it and this is our truth. Edi Rama cannot defeat this. It is difficult for a political party to win if it does not change the political language of leadership. Albanians are looking for real change that only the DP can bring," he said.

Salianji emphasized that the DP must create organizations that are accountable and that it is no longer the time to say "Rama threw it at us."

Structures must be created in the DP that do not make mistakes.

"The DP must rise again, to fill the squares. If we do not have the courage to change ourselves, Albania will have a hard time changing. The DP seems to be atrophying, it was not analyzing itself. Today I am glad that after the power of the Democrats, the DP is on another march today. There are more meetings, analysis and debate. In the end, I want to say that we have discussed how the DP has made mistakes in the electoral system, giving up mandates, territorial division, in not valuing the people who were voted for by the citizens. But even today the DP has made another mistake, I agree with Berisha who said about the People's Advocate. Should we just cry about the mistakes we make? How can the DP and the parliamentary group go without a strategy and give Rama 15 names and choose whoever they want. How can the DP not have the courage to say that our candidacy will be Adriana Kalaja, Skënder Aluci. How is it possible that the DP does not maintain a clear position...", he said.
