After the ceremony at the DP headquarters for the 35th anniversary of the re-establishment of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha returned to the plenary session of the Assembly.

He focused on the May 11 elections, stating that the law was violated in this process, affecting the final result.

"For the funeral of the free vote that the ruling party, surrounded on all sides by criminal interests, criminal gangs, reserved for the most fundamental process, the vote of the Albanians. The elections of May 11, 2025 were a process from start to finish, a farce typical of narco-dictatorships. They were a process in which the law of the country and international law were violated throughout the pre-election period. It was a process in which, with the money of Albanian taxpayers, to manipulate their vote, the narco-regime organized 4553 activities, of which on election day, the Giro D'Italia.

"It arrested opposition leaders in the electoral year, or put them under criminal prosecution. It was a process in which the electoral state used all its potential, its human resources, financial resources, resources and decision-making, in order to buy the votes of Albanians, to control their will," said Berisha.

During his speech, Berisha was not spared the reaction of MP Damian Gjiknuri, and after catching him laughing, he did not spare him a coded message.

"Damian, you're thinking about it, now you're laughing. You forgot, you forgot. When they lost 8 million euros to your mother, you wanted to kill yourself, but don't open those chapters to you because they have nothing to do with the elections," Berisha said.
