The Freedom Party has broken its silence after the surprise appointment of Silvi Caka to Edi Rama's cabinet, in the position of Deputy Minister of Interior.
In a post on social media by PL member Jasmira Memelli, the reaction to Silvi Caka is harsh, as she is told that she is "licking where he spat" and has "turned over the blood of the family shed for the sacred values of Freedom."
Caka is not mentioned directly, but with the initials SC, as Memelli says that she has been resigning from the Freedom Party, formerly LSI, for at least a year.
Full reaction:
When someone chooses to abandon the values of Freedom and Democracy for a worthless seat in a Government of crime and corruption, they are not leaving the Freedom Party, but rather morality, integrity, and principles.
We do not forbid anyone from licking what they have spat on, or from spitting on their own face.
Nor should he trample on the family blood shed for the sacred values of Freedom.
These are personal choices, which speak louder than any words.
It's been over a year since SC resigned to supposedly attend Magistrates' School, which actually resulted in an application to the "School" of Corruption, Crime and Vice.
The Freedom Party is more determined than ever to defend and implement its major national existential causes, to continue the principled and patriotic struggle without compromise, side by side with the true opposition and all honest Albanians, to shorten the days of Edi Rama's criminal regime that has depopulated the country and is mercilessly robbing the people with schizophrenic corruption.
