The counting process has been completed in some of the municipalities where votes were cast in the PD primaries.

Bardh Spahia has been confirmed again as a PD candidate in the May 14 local elections.

In three voting centers in Shkodër, Spahia received 1386 votes in favor, 6 against, while 5 were invalid.

The total participation in Shkodër is 1,397 voters, out of over 4,000 with the right to vote.

In Vaun e Dejës, 856 voters participated, where deputy Zef Hila received 722 votes, being confirmed as the winner of the primaries and candidate for the municipality. His rival Kol Shaba received 142 votes.

Deputy Hila has confirmed to the media that he will submit his mandate to compete in the local elections of May 14 for the Municipality of Vau i Deja.

While in some municipalities the winner of the PD primaries was announced with a large margin of votes or there was a single candidate, the opposite happened in this race in the municipality of Pogradec.

It is learned that the DP candidate in the May 14 elections will be Zini Tollozhina, who managed to win with only 2 votes difference over Oligert Muçllari.

It is known that Tollozhina received 291 votes against Oligert Muçllari's 289 votes, which shows that the race was open until the last votes. Zini Tollozhina was the former head of the PD Pogradec branch in the years 94-97.
