During the presentation of the new director of the National Academy of Sciences and Arts, Igli Tafa, Prime Minister Rama emphasized that he was chosen for this role for his leadership capacity, and for the fact that he understands the language and challenges of this institution.
Rama pledged that AKSHI will have the highest salaries in Albania, so that it does not compete with private companies.
"We will make the AKSHI have the highest salaries in Albania and there will be no private enterprise to compete with it. I am with you in this difficulty, because I am as hurt as you by every unjust and unworthy blow that is made to this institution because of an issue that has its own path."
"Igli is another recruit of digital Albania who has left other missions and jobs in other countries and has come to serve at a dramatic moment, when we were attacked by cyber terror. His leadership capacity, of someone who is part of you, who does the same thing, who understands your language and your challenges, made us, together with the minister, ask him to move within the same building. I am very pleased that Igli took this proposal as a duty, not as an invitation to go to a party, to prevent this entire team from feeling unled," said Rama.
In his speech, Igli Tafa considered AKSHI an extremely successful institution, and the heart of digital transformation in Albania.
"Thank you Prime Minister for the trust. It is an extraordinary responsibility to direct AKSHI, an extremely successful institution, which is the heart of the digital transformation, which provides services to all citizens and businesses of the country. I will be the one who will give you my energy, dedication and experience, but you have all the capacities to take the Prime Minister's vision for the digitalization of all services even further."
