Edi Rama has exploded today in Pristina against the Special Court in The Hague, which was established to try the leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA).

He has described the Special Prosecution Office as a " prosecution of idiots ", accusing them of having turned into political instruments, worse than the prosecution offices of Serbia.

Rama stated that if the West does not pass this " test" , by not allowing, according to him, "the burial alive of four innocent people ", then this would constitute a major problem not only for Kosovo, but also for the very credibility of Western countries.

Rama added that if the former KLA leaders are punished as the Prosecution says, according to the same logic, Western figures who supported NATO's intervention to liberate Kosovo, Bill Clinton, Javier Solana, Tony Blair, etc., should also be arrested.

Rama: If today the West does not pass this test and undertakes to bury 4 innocent people alive, hurting the people and the republic of Kosovo, this remains a big problem. I do not know how to say many words, but I can say that it is a hostage-taking for political reasons, not of the West as a whole, but of those forces that have wanted to equate two things that cannot be equated: the ethnic violence of a completely fascist war machine and the liberation war of an army, which had the name Army, but in fact was a popular mobilization, where those who were treated as the commanders of a regular force were the spiritual, moral and political leaders of this mobilization. Above all, there is something that is even more serious. I am talking about the West, if Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Vaseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi must be buried alive for the war and for what happened during the war in Kosovo, then the arrests must continue. Bill Clinton, Javier Solana, Tony Blair, it's not a question, the other prime ministers who gave the green light to the bombings must be arrested, and exactly what Slobodan Milosevic preached must happen, so that he and that other guy, the Swiss, never find prey where they are, both of them together there.
