Prime Minister Edi Rama has arrived in Kosovo, where celebrations for the 18th anniversary of Independence will take place tomorrow.
Rama held a meeting with the President of Vjosa Osmani.
The Prime Minister's Office has also shared footage from the meeting.
" On February 16, 2026, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Edi Rama, will pay an official visit to the Republic of Kosovo. On this occasion, the Kosovo Police, during this visit, will take care of maintaining public order and peace, as well as regulating traffic, during the movement of the escort and the stay of the delegation in Kosovo. In order to enable the free movement of the escort according to the movement itinerary from the Airport border point, as well as the development of activities according to the official agenda of the visit, the Kosovo Police will temporarily interrupt traffic (in short time intervals) on some road segments (where the escort is expected to pass), where there may be a reorientation of traffic to alternative routes. The Kosovo Police requests full understanding from citizens and traffic participants ," the official announcement of the Kosovo Police states.
