The policeman raped the waiter in Vlora, Rama reacts: He should be expelled without return and handed over to justice

Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted on the social network "X" regarding the rape of a waiter in Vlora, by a police officer.

Rama demands that the policeman not only be suspended, but expelled without the right to return to the ranks of the police, and face justice.

The conflict happened after the waiter reportedly mistakenly took one more water bottle to the policeman's desk.

Prime Minister Rama's reaction:

The suspension from duty of the officer of the Dibër State Police, who outside the service participated in an ugly physical conflict in Vlora, is only the first measure that should be followed by the expulsion of this individual without returning to the ranks of the police, as well as his surrender to the hands of justice as soon as he is released from the hospital.

Meanwhile, in the package of new measures of the territorial control reform, an increase in the weight of responsibility before the law of all state employees who operate in contact with communities and citizens, who will not tolerate violations of any nature that harm the community or the citizen, either during or outside service hours.

*Example: Any state employee who owns an unlicensed premises for profit or who uses a public space to make a profit (in addition to the same penalties for everyone) will be prosecuted and disqualified from duty without the right to return to a job in the state sector for a significant number of years
