"The opposition is led by the most disgusting communist scum" - Rama

During the 35th anniversary celebration of the Socialist Party in Durrës, Prime Minister Edi Rama, also the leader of the Socialist Party, attacked Sali Berisha.

While saying that the Socialist Party has separated from the communist period, Rama described Berisha as "the most disgusting communist scum."

"The Socialist Party is a liberal party and a party closely linked to that National Liberation War that placed Albania on the right side of history.

But, on the other hand, the Socialist Party has been clear from the first steps about the relationship with that part that connects us to the communist dictatorship, while others have fought and continue to fight today against communists and not communism.

Meanwhile, the Socialist Party has praised the communists for what they were and rejected communism for what it has done.

"It is no coincidence that today, on the other hand, it continues and survives at the head of what is mistakenly called the opposition, a remnant of communism, of communism in its most abominable form, as Vaclav Havel defined it: the worst form is in the communist-anti-communist," Rama said.
