Rama, message in Greek after meeting with the Greek Minister of Defense

Prime Minister Edi Rama has shared a photo from this Monday's meeting with Greek Defense Minister Niko Dendias, who is visiting Tirana for several meetings. 

"With the Greek Minister of Defense, Nikos Dendias, a valued friend and a steadfast supporter of the strategic partnership between Albania and Greece," Rama wrote on social media, a message that continues in Greek with the words "Thank you very much, dear Niko. Have a good and safe journey home."

The message that Rama distributed after the meeting does not clarify anything about the topics discussed or the purpose of Dendias' visit to Tirana, leaving open the speculations coming from the Greek media about an increased interest of the Greek government in the early determination of the maritime border between the two countries.

For Greece, this remains one of the most important issues in relation to Albania, while the Albanian government has promised to send the maritime border dispute to The Hague.
