Prime Minister Edi Rama commented this Sunday morning on the latest developments of the week, including the approval of the IBAR report.
Ironizing the opposition on his podcast "Flasim", Rama said that the confrontation took its time, while the "Molotov cocktails of Tirana" spread negativity, burned the capital through their protests, and tried to damage the country's image in the international arena.
While confirming the holding of the Intergovernmental Conference on May 26 in Tirana, Rama said that nothing is stopping Albania from integrating into the EU.
" But, as was known, the note-taking is related to the confrontation between the European Commission and the member states in Brussels, regarding the report on the tasks carried out by Albania after the opening of all negotiation chapters.
That confrontation took its time, while the 'Molotov cocktails' of Tirana were desperately unleashed on an unparalleled offensive of negative energy, taking to the streets to inevitably burn Albania in the eyes of the world, rejoicing like children when photos of cauldrons of fire or Molotov cocktails and flamethrowers being thrown around Tirana made rounds in the world's media.
Collect gasoline and throw homemade bombs with paid vandals, they also released them on the channels and portals of Albania to poison Albanians. Collect and throw spittle of political hatred, mirror by mirror, they were released across Europe with bags of mud and proverbial sludge, all of which happened with the so-called three-day visit to the Foreign Ministry in Berlin.
In fact, to tarnish Albania in the eyes of our partners, wherever possible, they gathered and jumped up and down to demand punishment, blockade, isolation for Albania, leaving a grain of salt like no other opposition in the history of European integration of countries that are today part of the European Union or intend to join it. They said that the European path was blocked, they said that Albania was finally punished, they said that our government was completely isolated.
They were lied to, they were lied to, because always from that shallow and evil mind of theirs and, in the end, in the end, they lost with shame and Albania won again with effort, with dignity and with pride. Thus, on May 26, in Brussels, the Intergovernmental Conference Albania - European Union seals the successful conclusion of the introductory phase and opens the final phase of negotiations for Albania's membership in the European Union. We have climbed another difficult height towards the top, which we will reach at all costs within this decade and where we will place the flag of Skanderbeg and Ismail Qemali there, in the courtyard of the great house of the United Europe,” the Prime Minister said.
