Several MPs with long parliamentary careers and senior political officials did not receive the vote of confidence of the citizens on May 11.

New figures are expected to take their place.

But who are the veterans of Albanian politics who remain outside Parliament?

In the Tirana district, from the ranks of the Socialist Party, the following remain outside: Olta Xhaçka, Blerina Gjylameti, Etilda Gjonaj, Plarent Ndreca, Mimi Kodheli, Pandeli Majko, Ermonela Felaj and Klotilda Bushka.

From the "PD - Greater Albania" alliance, the following were not re-elected: former president Ilir Meta, Asllan Dogjani, Myslim Murrizi, Petrit Doda, Dhurata Çupi and Shpëtim Idrizi.

The former leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, will also be outside parliament.

Meanwhile, new names, still unknown to the public, enter the Assembly, such as Sara Mila in Elbasan - the candidate with the most votes nationally, Zegjine Çaushi in Fier and Marjana Koçeku in Shkodër, known as "Neomalsorja" on social networks, a candidate of the Socialist Party on the closed list.
