The US Charge d'Affaires in Tirana this Tuesday went to the offices of the Albanian Parliament for an informal meeting with the Speaker of the Albanian Parliament, Niko Peleshi.

The reasons for the meeting between the two representatives are still unknown.

Van Horn's meeting comes a day after the meeting of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group where the legal amendment to Article 242 was proposed .

Meanwhile, a few days later, the Parliamentary Mandates Committee will meet to discuss SPAK's request to lift Belinda Balluku's immunity and arrest her.
