Meloni will visit Albania, the Italian media reveal the details
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni

The Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni is expected to pay a visit to Tirana on June 5.

According to the Italian media, the focus of the discussions will be on the camp that will be set up in Gjadër where thousands of immigrants deported from Italy will be housed, according to the agreement signed earlier by the two states.

Last summer, the Italian Prime Minister was on an unofficial visit to Vlora together with her family members a few months before the agreement for immigrants was finalized in Rome during Rama's visit.

Regarding the agreement for immigrants, Meloni has not hesitated to defend Prime Minister Rama several times, as he has been attacked by the opposition and the Italian media.
