"With traders, or with villagers", Brace criticizes Rama government: Two or three companies decide on prices

Socialist Party MP Erion Brace spoke at today's plenary session on rising prices in the country.

The former Deputy Prime Minister said in the assembly that the socialist majority has failed during these 8 years to remove the barriers set by the Democratic Party and open the markets, leaving many sectors of the economy in the hands of two or three companies. .

What is government is government, what is market is market and what is Authority is Authority. In April, the price index change reached 9%. The annual increase in prices in April was observed in food and non-alcoholic beverages. Most of the basket foods were grown, locally produced. These are the prices of the prolongation of the pandemic and the Putin war in Ukraine.

Të dyja kanë ndikim të fortë mbi ofertën dhe kërkesën. Këto janë dhe çmimet e varësisë së madhe nga importet. Padiskutim këto janë dhe çmimet e strukturës sonë të prodhimit, e mangët, e ngushtë, e klientelizmit. Çmimet të tilla kanë brenda dhe konkurrencën. Ekzistenca e bordeve është prova më e qartë e mungesës së tregjeve dhe abuzimit me çmime në tregje.

Janë marrëveshje që kanë cënuar konkurrencën në vite. Vajin e kanë tre kompani, drithin e kanë 7 kompani, orizin, atë kokërrgjatin 95% të tregut e kanë 3 kompani. Importet e plehrave kimike janë ulur me 17%  në janar-mars. Jemi në regjimin e rregullimit të çmimeve nga bordet. E para tregjet tek ne janë këneta.
