'Finally', Rama reacts after RMV accepted the French proposal:

Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted after the approval of the French proposal in the Assembly of North Macedonia, saying that finally there is no longer any obstacle for Albania's EU membership negotiations.

In a long message on "Facebook", Prime Minister Rama writes that: " It took 3 grueling years from the decision-making of the European Council to pave the way for negotiations, so that the series of artificial obstacles raised in front of Albania is completely leveled ".

AT LAST...

The negotiations for Albania's membership in the European Union no longer have any obstacles! The Parliament of North Macedonia has just given the green light to the latest French proposal. The absurd hostage-taking of Albania has ended.

It took 3 grueling years from the decision-making of the European Council to pave the way for negotiations, so that the series of artificial obstacles raised in front of Albania were completely flattened. 3 whole years of top football in the areas of internal political interests of the member countries - without forgetting the tyrants of the motherland, grata and non grata, who all these years left no stone unturned, to block Albania for the sake of miserable interests of their politics without religion, without homeland, without religion or faith.

3 years of unbroken horrors, from the earthquake to the pandemic and now amid the consequences of the war in Ukraine over the cost of living here and everywhere in the world. These extraordinary challenges have put to the test not only the government, but our character as a country, as a community of people and as a governing majority of course.
Here we are again! As we succeeded with the earthquake and the pandemic, when almost no one believed that we would succeed, we will succeed with the new crisis brought about by the war, as well as with the negotiations that will make Albania a member of the European Union .

We got here without reducing the pace of reforms, work and change, despite the unfulfilled promises of the EU. We will succeed by increasing the pace, further improving the work and deepening the change even more.

Ja kemi dalë pa u mposhtur nga zhgënjimet e as nga lëndimet jo të lehta të këtyre viteve. Do t'ia dalim duke vazhduar të nxjerrim mësime dhe duke mos ngurruar në korrigjimin e vetvetes.

Ja kemi dalë me kokën lart, duke arritur ta ngremë Shqipërinë në sytë e më të mëdhenjve, aty ku ajo s'ka qenë kurrë, e vlerësuar dhe e respektuar si e barabartë në çdo marrëdhënie ndërkombëtare. Por të mos e harrojmë, ky nuk është fundi i rrugës sonë, por vetëm fillimi i një pjese të re të rrugës për Shqipërinë që duam.

Delegacioni shqiptar do të niset të hënën në Bruksel për ta filluar këtë pjesë të re rruge, duke filluar negociatat e anëtarësimit. Do t'ia dalim në krye edhe kësaj pjese të re përpjekjesh, duke u lidhur më ngushtë me shqiptarët dhe duke e synuar me forca të reja majën ku do ta ngjisim me se s'bën Shqipërinë.
