The head of Rugova's party refuses to meet with President Bajram Begaj,
Lumir Abdixhiku and Bajram Begaj

The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, during his visit to Kosovo, did not meet with Lumir Abdixik, head of the Democratic League of Kosovo, which is otherwise known as Ibrahim Rugova's party, as he was its founder.

The reason for the cancellation of this meeting was the place where they were supposed to meet. Abdixhiku did not accept the invitation of the president to meet at the headquarters of the Assembly, claiming that he should go to the headquarters of their party.

The meeting was scheduled to take place today at 9:35 am.

Begaj has also planned meetings with representatives of the PDK, led by Speaker Memli Krasniqi, and then he will meet with the head of AAK, led by Ramush Haradinaj, at the Assembly headquarters. At the end of the meeting, President Begaj will hold a meeting with the minority parties.
