Today at 18:00, Milan will play against Roma in a match that is worth a lot. Both to confirm fourth place and to keep a direct rival as far away as possible.

Stefano Pioli has stopped the team from thinking about the Champions League and today he expects an answer from his boys. At least this is what he confirmed in yesterday's press conference.

Your Milan has never missed the important matches. How calm are you?

I know what kind of team I have and we are aware that we have a few games left, which means that the space to correct mistakes decreases. We currently have our luck in our hands and the more points we score, the more chances we have to reach the top four.

Have you seen the first leg match?

We know the quality of Roma, but we don't think about the last game. I am somewhat worried because Roma has not conceded a goal in "Olimpico" in 7 challenges during 2023, but the moment is decisive and we must be protagonists. Energies are wasted and should not be spent on other thoughts, especially at this point in the season.

How do you feel about the rest of the calendar?

Good, because I see how the boys work. Even in the last matches, we have not played badly, so we go to Rome with confidence. We have a direct confrontation with Roma, but the fight for the first four places will end only at the end of the championship.

Don't you think redheads protest too much?

They are a strong team and Mourinho is working very well. Each team is free to act as they want on the field and then the referee decides. We are Milan and we only think about winning.

How will you align the team in the midfield and how will you stimulate it?

The match is very important and we all know what needs to be done. In the midfield, and everywhere else, I will decide depending on the test tomorrow morning (today).

So do you think about the second place?

There is no value in looking at the ranking. The match must be played again and I believe that we all have clear ideas. Starting from the marking mode in the standard shots. Some players guard the area, while others must be taken care of.
