The US Secretary of State, Antony Bliken, has expressed US support for the new justice system in the country, saying that the new institutions have begun to produce results.

During a joint conference with Prime Minister Edi Rama, Blinken said that the US will continue to support the new justice institutions.

Blinken revealed the discussions with Prime Minister Rama, from the situation in the Western Balkans region, to the fight against disinformation, American investments in the USA and the strengthening of ties between the two countries.

"You are with us, we are with you," Blinken concluded.

"We have started to see the results of the justice reform. It is important to see that members of organized crime are ending up in court proceedings. We will continue to support new justice systems. Also the fight against disinformation, there is a big information competition, we can call it an informational war.

We also discussed investments, US investments in Albania have tripled since 2019, and will continue, we see how there is potential for energy diversification. Exchange programs make our ties stronger, Fulbright, will double the number of Albanian students in the US. You are with us, and we are with you. This was true three decades ago and remains true today," said Blinken.
