The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has declared that the accelerated procedure for passing changes to the Assembly's regulations is unconstitutional.
The Chief Democrat, while addressing the Speaker of the Parliament, Niko Peleshi, stated that he is behaving like the secretary of the Prime Minister, Edi Rama.
"Starting your duty by violating the Constitution definitively marks yourself, it shows that you are nothing more than a secretary to the head of Albania's criminal organization named Edi Rama," Berisha said.
He added that this is a violation of the will of Albanian citizens, adding "it is a coup that is being carried out against the state's books only because you want to wash your hands of the crime you committed."
"Do you have the Constitution as the statute of your criminal party?" the leader of the DP asked, asking them to implement the Constitution.
Sali Berisha: Starting your term by violating the Constitution definitively stains yourself, shows that you are nothing more than a secretary to the head of Albania's criminal organization named Edi Rama.
Violating the Constitution is a violation of the will of Albanian citizens, it is a coup that is carried out against the book of the state only because you want to wash your hands of the crime you committed.
It is a low provocation that you are making to the constitutional order of the country, the citizens of this country and the opposition, a shameful act. Do you have the Constitution as the statute of your criminal party? Make the decision, gather the councils and implement the Constitution.
