LSI has called for the holding of the National Convention at 7 p.m. on Monday and is expected to be Ilir Meta at this convention.

Meta closes its five-year term in the Presidency on Sunday and will waste no time in returning to active politics.

At the convention, the Chief Minister is expected to announce the departure from party leadership and formal opening of procedures for electing the new speaker, practically handing the party over to Ilir Meta again.

The chief has called for mass participation in the Convention held at the Palace of Congresses, even its instruction before the protest called by Sali Berisha against the price hike on 7 July has left participation in the protest at the will of membership, provided that participation was as massive as possible at Monday's convention.
