Prime Minister Edi Rama published today the 19th Episode of the 3rd Season of the "Flasim" podcast, entitled "Smart Generation".
Rama held a conversation with Kevin Sekniqi, listed by "Forbes" magazine as one of the under 30-year-olds who are at the top of success in the financial world.
Sekniqi said that even he had not expected this ranking in "Forbes" magazine.
"They gave me an interview, I answered some questions, later I found out that it was a list that I didn't know anything about either. But it's an interesting list, but it's just the beginning of this story ," he said.
"It was for the business work I did at Ava Labs, the influence I had in the field of cryptocurrencies, especially in the technology development we did at our company at Ava Labs, which is Avalanch's block-chain. It is one of the most used blockchains ", said Sekniqi.
"The story begins 30 years ago in 1993. I was born in Montenegro, but my parents are from Shkodra. Babin of Montenegrin origin, mother from Shkodra 100%. I grew up here as a child, I spent a few years in Italy, but I spent most of my years in Albania until I was 14 years old. I have always wanted to do a start-up business. I have the dream of Bill Gates, he has been my idol since I was little and by chance we came to America when I was 14 years old for a wedding. I saw New York and said I live here" , said Sekniqi.
"Then I moved to New York for a little over 10 years, completed high school, university, doctorate, and there later I met my colleague and we continued to do the technology project we have at the company".
He said that relations with Albania are fantastic.
"Tirana is a city that has developed tremendously. It didn't occur to me. Normally it is the city that is more developed. It's been a while since I went south. I went to Shkodër and Shkodër needs to move, but it hasn't moved as much as it should", said Sekniqi.
